“ James Kitchen is an amazing restaurant in Jervis Bay. The restaurant is extremely clean and the food is authentic, fresh and delicious. The restaurant gets busy on weekend and locals just loving it! ”
“ James kitchen has seating indoors and out. You are warmly welcomed by a staff; the restaurant is a family run business. Staff are happy to suggest and recommend dishes that complement each other. The menu is relatively simple though surprisingly tasty. Dumplings appear home made and fresh. The combo crispy chow mein has a good blend of textures and flavours - crunchy noodles with tender prawns, beef and chicken. There is a chef's menu available as well. Servings are good and won't leave you hungry. Parking is along the street in front of the restaurant. ”
“ What a little gem this place is. Great staff and super fresh, beautifully cooked, and properly seasoned food. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than average Chinese, but it isn't average and it is in a great location. Give it a go. ”
“ One of the best Chinese I have had for years! We ordered sweet and sour pork and fried beans with pork mince. The sweet and sour pork was very authentic. It has just enough batter to keep the crunch and you could still have big chunk of pork. The sauce is not just sweetened tomato sauce. They use proper Chinese vinegar to make it. This is what you would get in a good Chinese restaurant in China. The fried beans with pork mince was very fresh. The beans were cooked to perfection and they were crunchy and sweet. With just a bit of pork mince and garlic. The dish wasn't too salty either. We were both physically and emotionally satisfied. The price wasn't cheap but not expensive given the flood and inflation of things recently. The service was good and the way they served customers was very reasonable as we observed how they interact with others as well. Would definitely come back. It's a shame that we are leaving tomorrow, otherwise would come back to try their Mongolian lamb. ”
“ After losing our favourite Chinese restaurant at Callala bay that we would always go to over the years, we thought we would give this place a go as we have meant to try this place on every other trip. I have to say we were very impressed by the food and servings. If you hate peas, the Chicken Fried rice is a winner for you, and the Soft Shell Crab is well worth the money! I'm glad we gave this place a go and will come back again on our future trips down here! ”
